A World Cup Qualifier match between Brazil and Argentina turned into a chaotic scene, as violent clashes erupted between fans and police inside the stadium. The situation quickly escalated, as bottles, rocks and fireworks were thrown by both sides, injuring several people and damaging nearby cars and buildings. The police responded with tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons, trying to disperse the crowd and restore order. The violence lasted for about an hour, until the match was over and the fans dispersed. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) condemned the incidents and said it would cooperate with the authorities to identify and punish those responsible. The CBF also expressed its solidarity with the victims and apologized to the public for the inconvenience caused by the unrest.
